Hey, my name is Aled.
I’m a photographer and have been taking pictures for as long as I remember.
I always had an ambition to work in media, even from an early age. Maybe this comes from my great grandfather Arthur J. Lewis being a photographer. He was based in Aberystwyth and took this quite famous photograph of elephants from a visiting circus bathing in the sea at Aberystwyth. Much of his work is now archived by the national library of Wales for it’s cultural and historic importance to the area.I hope one day to have the time to create some sort of personal project based around his work.
I am based in st clears, a small town just outside carmarthen. This is a fantastic central location and ideally located to cover all of south and west wales. I work for a range of local and national clients, small and large. I cover both national and local news. I also work with a broad range of companies creating images for websites, promotions, annual reports and lots of other things too!
I am a proud father to Cameron,Trystan and Jack.
